  I had my car serviced and they seemed to do a good job . It's an older car so they checked it thoroughly and identified a range of issues that needed fixing. They quoted $1500 (including the next service) to do the work. I understood that it was a firm quote.

  I don't question either the quality of the work or their honesty, but I do question their quote preparation processes that resulted in a very substantial underquote. In fairness to them though, I could have simply gone back to their store and collected the car without having the work done.

  As far as I can tell, the work was done to a satisfactory standard. I would hesitate to have work done again at Autobahn in Mandurah because of their failure to prepare a reliable original quote.
